Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem

5/23/24

Consistency exits on a spectrum. Although it may seem like you are struggling to achieve your goals, find refuge in the fact that simply being alive is a sign that your body is steadying itself. Let that person who is simply happy to have woke up today remind you of the many processes your body maintains in order to keep you balanced. Be comforted by this because you have someone on your side (you). Your temperature, breathe, and even your heart beat serve in harmony through the ups and downs of any given moment. As you go forward looking for more money, a job promotion, or even financial freedom, be inspired by your ability to overcome. Resilience is what has gotten you through the lowest points of your life! Depression, anxiety, and even PTSD bow down to the inner workings of your mind, body, and soul. Conquer the moment enough times and you will seize the day (Carpe diem). Sometimes, thinking about how far you have to go can be discouraging. Think about how far you have come. Realize where you are now. Manifest your desired reality. Listen to your intuition as it speaks life into you. Thoughts sometimes seem automatic. However, when grounded and at the center of each moment, thoughts become a product of the human and not the other way around. Emotions work in a similar manner. Often when I get ahead of myself it’s because I am compensating for feeling behind in someway. Allow yourself to be. Where you were and where you could have been are focuses that can distract you from where you are and where you are going. Exist on a spectrum. Track yourself, record your habits, & take note of the way you behave. Study the ins and outs of your daily routines. Watch triggers dissolve as you get better at navigating your own terrain. Learn to de-escalate in the name of sanctity. Peace of mind will allow your creativity to flourish. When you feel a trigger coming on, relocate. Find another space and keep moving forward. Notice how the bumps in the road are easy to go around especially if you learn to pump the breaks and steer. You are the captain of your own ship. This includes relationSHIPS. Set boundaries & communicate your desires. If they are unknown to you then speak it. Explore what makes you feel good and why it does so. Do the same for what makes you feel bad. Adjust accordingly. Today is about you. Your life is about you! Serving others is something that you can do by serving yourself. Reciprocate. Making the world a better place can be as simple as making yourself a better person. Find people who have the same reasons as you. Reinforce your why with every step. Walk the walk that you talk about so much. Be the person who you know you are. Stand in your beliefs. Be in harmony with all things living. Know the different frequencies and distance yourself accordingly. Pace yourself because timing is important. Be patient and see the way things work out. Be assertive in a way that respects tranquility. Go after what it is that you want and be kind along the way. If you find yourself in a place where you don’t have anything nice to say then be quiet. Concentrate and you will find the beauty. Exercise this skill. Treat it like a muscle. When you come across something new that seems foreign or even exotic, see the good in it. Last but not least, remember that you don’t have to try new things if you don’t want to. However, it’s likely that new things will try you! Instead of taking offense immediately or rushing to defend yourself, just be. Thank you and until we meet again!
